On July 4, 2025, J. Aldarjavhlan, a member of the Parliament, submitted a proposal to amend the Law on Commonly Distributed Minerals. In 2021, changes were made to Article 12, Section 12.3, and Article 17, Section 17.4 of the same law, which prohibit issuing special exploration licenses for common minerals within one kilometre of settlements and green zones.
