The Parliament will convene its regular spring session from April 28 to May 2, 2025, with a packed agenda featuring several high-priority discussions:

• Child Rights Reform: A working group will present recommendations for aligning Mongolia’s Law on the Rights of the Child with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
• Labor Law Update: Proposed revisions to the Law on the Rights of Trade Unions will undergo review.
• Human Rights Report: Lawmakers will examine the 24th annual assessment of Mongolia’s human rights landscape.
• Mega-Projects Review: Officials will provide updates on flagship infrastructure and development initiatives under the 2024-2028 Government Strategic Program.
• Energy Legislation: The draft Law on Thermal Energy will be introduced for parliamentary debate.

     This session underscores Mongolia’s legislative focus on human rights, labor reforms, and economic development as the Government advances its policy agenda.
