Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources G. Damdinnyam stated that, during the regular Government meeting scheduled for August 20, 2025, revisions will be made to the methodology used for calculating royalties on mineral resources. The MCMR was previously levied at the rates specified in Sections 47.3, 47.5, 47.17, 472.2, 473.1, and 473.2 of the "Minerals Law" in accordance with Resolution No. 465 of the Government of Mongolia dated December 25, 2019. However, it has been announced that AMNAT will be calculated at the mineral exchange price.
